A/Prof Glenn McKay

FFRRHH, MBChB, BSc, DipGrad, PGCert AME , PGDip AeroRT, DIRECTOR
Dr Glenn McKay trained at the University of Otago Medical School and completed postgraduate studies in aeromedical retrieval and transport at Otago's School of Aviation Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Rural Remote and Humanitarian Healthcare at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Griffith School of Medicine & Dentistry. He has served on the faculty for Bond University's postgraduate degree in Retrieval Medicine and is a regular guest speaker in business ethics at Bond University Law School.In 2003, Glenn founded Medical Rescue in Australia and has since led the growth of the Medical Rescue group of companies. His clinical career spans flight medicine across rotary and fixed-wing operations, emergency and pre-hospital care for the military, RFDS, ski patrols, and the offshore oil and gas sector, as well as disaster response. He has served as a Medical Officer at Kokoda Barracks for the Department of Defence and held a commission with the Australian Defence Force Reserves.Glenn's operational experience is dual-tracked: he has performed as a frontline clinician in high-acuity, time-critical environments — delivering advanced medical care under pressure across austere and hostile terrain — and as a capability architect, designing, building, and delivering remote and austere medical systems from the ground up. He has planned and stood up medical support for operations where no infrastructure existed, translating clinical requirements into deployable capability across logistically complex and resource-constrained environments.Glenn has played active roles in humanitarian response coordination and field deployments, and is a recipient of both the Australian National Emergency Medal (Bushfires and Floods) and the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal (Indian Ocean Tsunami).

Perry Singh

A highly esteemed C-suite executive renowned for his exceptional leadership in the government and defence services sector, Perry Singh boasts an illustrious career spanning 28 years. With a diverse background in Business Management, Project Management, and Information Technology, Perry commenced his professional journey in 1995, where he honed his expertise in IT while collaborating on significant infrastructure projects with Webuild SpA, supported by the World Bank.
Transitioning to the logistics industry in 2003, Perry's focus shifted towards defence expeditionary logistics, marking the onset of a distinguished tenure at Toll, where he has served as a stalwart for two decades. Perry's extensive tenure at Toll has solidified his reputation as a preeminent figure within the government and defence sphere, marked by his proficiency in cultivating robust relationships across governmental echelons and steering consistent growth and profitability in critical portfolios.
As President of Toll’s Government and Defence vertical, Perry is instrumental in delivering bespoke solutions that empower partners to achieve success. Perry's profound understanding of customer concerns, coupled with his expertise in navigating challenges to deliver successful outcomes, underscores his leadership ethos. Throughout his tenure at Toll, Perry has spearheaded multifaceted projects across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific, including Timor Leste and the Solomon Islands, overseeing the management of pivotal contracts with both domestic and foreign governments.
Renowned for his ability to forge enduring partnerships and cultivate high-performing teams, Perry's expertise lies in fostering talent, implementing rigorous safety protocols, and liaising with external stakeholders, governmental bodies, and defence agencies.

Hon Karen Andrews

BEng(Mech), Grad DIp IR, Cert Mediation, MAICD DIRECTOR
Karen Andrews is an experienced board director, mechanical engineer, and a former Federal Minister, with a career spanning engineering, industrial relations, national security, and public policy. Her early career was in engineering in the petrochemical and electricity generation sectors, followed by senior industrial relations and human resources roles supporting industry and the health sector, including major hospital transitions, clinical workforce negotiations, and organisational change across health, hospital, and ambulance services.Karen served in the Australian Parliament for more than a decade, holding senior portfolios including Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, and Assistant Minister for Vocational Education and Skills. In these roles she oversaw national security agencies, led reforms in counterterrorism and cyber security, and managed the safe reopening of Australia’s borders during the COVID 19 pandemic. She also strengthened sovereign supply chains through the Modern Manufacturing Strategy, including initiatives relevant to medical and health related capability.Before entering Parliament, Karen advised employers and governments on workforce reform, dispute resolution, and organisational change. She now holds a portfolio of board and advisory roles and provides consulting services in governance, recruitment, and organisational strategy.Karen brings deep experience in public administration, risk management, regulatory systems, and the governance of complex service environments, with a strong commitment to organisations supporting community health, emergency response capability, and essential service delivery.

Richard Baumfield

LLB, LLM, BBs DIRECTOR
Richard is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of law at Bond University, having previously being a partner with the New York law firm Andrews Kurth LLP. Prior to Andrews Kurth LLP, Richard was employed in Australia as a solicitor with Clayton Utz. Richard has a wide range of experience in all aspects of corporate law, strategic investments and corporate governance issues.
Richard graduated with a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University majoring in accounting, a Bachelor of Laws from QUT where he won the University medal and a Master of Laws from Colombia University where he was a Stone Scholar.
Richard is admitted to practice law in Australia and is a member of the New York Bar. In addition, he is admitted in the Southern and Eastern Federal Districts of New York.
Richard was a partner with the New York law firm Andrews Kurth LLP where his practice focused on corporate restructuring primarily in unregulated industries and markets. He represented hedge funds, high net worth individuals and other institutions that invested in distressed situations. Some of his representations include acting on behalf of Enron Inc when it filed chapter 11 bankruptcy, restructuring Power Company of America, Leap Wireless, Metricom, PNV Co., and American Banknote Corporation.
Since returning to Australia, Richard has been the CEO and a board member of iPrimus, the Chairman of Intrepid Mines Ltd, a director of ABCorp and has sat on the boards of many other companies. While sitting on the boards of various companies, Richard has been involved in numerous large M&A transactions involving both public and private companies in Australia and the US.
At Bond University Richard teaches corporate law and governance subjects including Corporations Law, Foundations of Corporate Governance, Enterprise Law and Business Law.
Richard has co-authored two textbooks – Business and Company Law and Company Law – An Interactive Approach. The Company Law book won the Educational Publishing Award for the best tertiary teaching learning resource in Australia. Both books were published by Wylie.

Peter Davies CBE

DIRECTOR
Peter’s first career was over 27 years as an Infantry Officer in the British Army, serving on operations in Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone and Iraq, completing his Service as a Director in the Ministry of Defence with responsibility for people, their families, and welfare. Emigrating to Australia in 2008 when he left the Army, he has delivered consultancy services to public and private sector organisations, latterly through his own advisory business. From 2015, he spent five years overseeing capability delivery and Business Development for a European Engineering Services provider in the offshore energy sector in the Asia Pacific, based in Kuala Lumpur. He now has a portfolio of advisory roles; mainly into Defence and Defence industry in Australia and the United Kingdom; and in the energy sector globally. He is also an occasional lecturer focussing on leadership and ethics and is an appointed member of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).He was a co-founder and Chairman of Mates4Mates, the not-for profit organisation underwritten by RSL Queensland Branch, supporting serving and ex-serving ADF personnel and their families affected by their Service.

Anne-Marie is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. She earned her Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Accountancy, at Massey University in New Zealand.
Anne-Marie has 24 years of extensive experience and is a dedicated member of our leadership team. Anne-Marie brings a wealth of business experience in financial and management accounting, tax planning and strategic direction, with a strong drive for capitalising on business opportunities.
