Helping Australians come home
The Medical Rescue Foundation offers advice and in some circumstances financial assistance to Australians facing the difficult task of repatriating an injured loved one home to Australia for tertiary care.
When your holiday goes terribly wrong
The Medical Rescue Foundation aims to support Australian citizens who have become unwell or injured overseas. We understand the challenges patients and their families face when they find themselves in a foreign hospital and in places may not be the same as the types of medical facilities you are used to back home. We can help with
- liaising with hospitals
- helping you to navigate the confusion and stress
- organising admissions in Australia
- organising air ambulance providers in your region
- assistance with fundraising efforts and
- in some cases financial assistance to get you home sooner.
